While May 24th was a rainy day in Central Maine...

... a group of supporters came together to host the first annual Dexter Fun Day in the municipal parking lot. Andrew Bermudez graciously accepted his nomination to ascend to the rooftop of our building at 6 Main Street.

The idea of bringing the community out to support our Rooftop Challenge winner and take part in some fun with friends and neighbors came together during a conversation with local volunteers.

Several local businesses and organizations stepped up to participate. Dunkin' Donuts got the event off to a great start with coffee and donuts as we set up.

We look forward to hosting more events to bring the community together, share our vision and learn how we can best be part of a region that looks out for one another.

The Heart of Maine Resource Center [HRMC] connects neighbors across the Maine Highlands with resources they need to thrive—and we also like to get together and just have fun!
